Kehilla Hagra is located in Ramat Beit Shemesh, a community that was founded at the end of the year 5758. It has quickly grown from a small community of a few families to a large "city" with thousands of families. The community is now overwhelmingly "religious", with many different "flavors" of Judaism amongst the citizens: Israeli and American Chareidi, Dati Leumi, Sefardim and Chassidim.
